| Spring Clean Your Jewelry Box and Give a Hand to Food Share |

Food Share of Lincoln County is again seeking donations of used jewelry for its fundraiser, Be Jeweled, a collectible and costume jewelry sale which will take place next January at the Newport Recreation Center. "We collect all year long," says Nancy Smith, Food Share Director. "This is a unique way to help and we're hoping people will be generous with donations of jewelry they no longer wear. This year's event was wonderfully successful and helped to feed many hungry families." Items can be taken to the following Newport donations points: Food Share, the Newport Chamber of Commerce, the Newport Senior Activity Center, Nye Cottage Beads and Oregon Coast Bank and Hair Love. In Lincoln City, donations can be made at the Lincoln City Cultural Center and Oregon Coast Bank. The Oregon Coast Bank in Waldport will also be a drop-off point.
